              General Information

              Information Technology Department (IT) provides computing facilities and services to support the academic, research and administrative endeavors of students, faculties, and staff of the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI).

              In order to deliver our services in an efficient way, the IT department is organized into two working teams operating under the direction of the Department Head, and administrative support of an officer.

              Applications Development Team is mainly responsible for:
              • Central information system development and maintenance;
              • System analysis and planning;
              • User support and training
              Technical Support Team is mainly responsible for:
              • Hardware & software evaluation, purchase, installation and maintenance;
              • Network, Intranet and Internet services administration;
              • User account management, support and training

              Where to find us ?

              IT department offices are located on the 3rd floor of the administrative building in MPI Main Campus.

              IT Helpdesk Counter provides help and support to all students and staff to resolve computer related issues. IT helpdesk counter is located in room A201 of the Chi Un building in Main Campus.

              Office Hours

              Monday to Thursday : 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m
              Friday : 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m
              (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)

              A201 Helpdesk Counter Office Hours:

              Monday to Saturday : 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
              (Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays)

              Students / Staff can request service or report computer problems to our department through the following ways:
